I always forget how much I love the mornings. Especially in the Utah summer. It’s so hot during the day that I forget how beautiful the temperature is in the morning. We woke up at 6:00am for this shoot at the hot springs in Saratoga Springs, Utah. I know that’s not SUPER early, but it’s early for me. Especially for summer time when I just want to sleep in and get cuddly in the mornings.
Sam and Jake are some of my best friends from high school. They moved away and were visiting this week. It was Thursday night and I was like…I really want to do a sunrise shoot. So I hurry and texted Sam and was like, “Yo, would you be down to do a shoot tomorrow morning at the hot springs?” And obviously she said yes! It was seriously the greatest morning ever. My husband came and we just had a double date at 7am along with two skinny dipping old men who were also at the springs. We went to breakfast afterwards to Black Bear Diner. It was so weird to be one of those people who’s out to breakfast at 8am! It was so refreshing to wake up early, do a shoot, hang out with friends, and enjoy a filling breakfast. Sunrise shoots are my new fave <3
