I probably already said this in my last post of Kelsey and Stephen’s engagements (click the link to see their amazing engagements in St. George, Utah) but I literally love these two so much. And I’m not just saying that. I’m one of those people that is honest at almost all times, so when I give you a compliment, or tell you I like you, I really truly do like you!
One of the reason’s I love them so much, is because we both took the time to get to know each other. I can’t express enough how important it is to me to get to know my clients before their wedding day. In this case, I got lucky because they wanted to do their engagements in St. George. We got to spend an entire weekend together hanging out and getting to know each other.
What I Believe
Nothing is better than having a real, authentic relationship with my clients. I tell them all about me, they tell me all about them, we laugh and shed tears (sometimes), and make cheers to life. I almost make it a priority to go out to dinner with my couples before even taking their engagements. That way, when we’re taking their pictures, we’ve already established a relationship! I’m more comfortable, they’re more comfortable, and we’re no longer strangers. Most people don’t feel comfortable getting their pictures taken; how much more uncomfortable is it to get your pictures taken by a stranger??
