As I’m blogging this session there’s currently no snow outside. Putting these images together for this post is making me miss it! I guess it’s more like a love hate relationship. I miss it, but I also love it when it’s warm. Which is why I’m grateful for the seasons because I honestly just love all the seasons! Winter is a fun time to shoot because the snow becomes a prop, impromptu snowball fights are always acceptable.
I met Morgan a few years ago when I was looking for a florist for a styled shoot. She is SUCH a talented florist. Check out her instagram here! Her brand name is Olive and Sage Floral. If you are looking for a florist, you really should reach out to her. She is such an amazing person to work with, and she’ll execute your vision perfectly. I feel so lucky to have met her.
It was so fun to take anniversary pics of her and husband Bryce plus their cute dogs! There’s this hike up in Salt Lake that everyone brings their dogs to. These two pups were definitely not alone on our little winter hike, and they weren’t very happy about it. We were laughing trying to get the dogs to cooperate, but they were just not having it! So we finally gave up and had my hubby Zack take the pups while we took pics of the two of them. We were ending the shoot and I said, “Let’s just try taking pics with the dogs one more time” and we got some cute ones of all four of them cuddling (: It was the best way to end a snowy winter shoot!
